Please join us at the “Leimert Park Village Book Festival” on Saturday, June 30, 2007. Hosted by Los Angeles Councilman Bernard C. Parks, 8th District and Eso Won Books, in association with Helping One Another Progress, Inc. (H.O.A.P.) this year’s festival promises to be a much-anticipated festival gathering of writers, storytellers, spoken word artists, poets, musicians, publishers, booksellers, and exhibitors. The purpose of this event will be to provide the community access to writers and their work while equally providing writers and spoken word artists a venue to network with other artists and literary exhibitors.

This festival, moreover, promises to be an even greater event with the addition of four literary villages (including the authors’ meet & greet book expo, children’s reading corner, cooks’demo area, and poets’ corner), seminars and workshops, with an opening reception hosted by Eso Won Bookstore.
